It is situated approximately 70 km south of the capital city Manila, Due to its beautiful scenery and cool temperature, Tagaytay is a popular tourist destination. It overlooks Taal Lake in Batangas and Taal Volcano Island through various vantage points in the city.

Museo Orlina is an indoor-outdoor museum highlighting the works of glass sculptor Ramon Orlina, a renowned Filipino sculptor. He uses glass for his sculptures and, as a pioneer with this material, he is referred to as the father of the Filipino glass sculptors.
The People's Park in the Sky is a historical urban park. It was converted from an incomplete mansion, known as the Palace in the Sky built during the Marcos Era. The incomplete scaffolding of the mansion remained intact. Shrine of Our Lady, Mother of Fair Love can also be found in the park.
