YANGON SIGHTSEEING – OVERNIGHT TO MANDALAY (B)
In the morning, at 09.00AM, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel to start to explore the city with visiting Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda.
Continue travelling to the downtown to explore architectures of the colonial buildings in this historic former capital city. Specifically, the tour guide will explain the history of each structure and what they were used for.
Then, we will explore the local life of Burmese in China Town. During heading to China Town (or 19th Street), you are free to take some amazing photos of a nearby temple with hundreds of images depicting mythological scenes.
Afterwards, pay a visit to Karaweik Palace with a nice view of the Royal Lake. Your next destination will be the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. Immerse in the shimmering landscape of Shwedagon pagoda which is a magnificent golden pagoda on the top of Singuttara hill. It is said that this pagoda dated back from 2500 years ago and stored the hair relics of the Buddha. Today it becomes one of the most spectacular religious architecture in the world as well as a pride of Myanmar.
In the late afternoon, transfer to Yangon bus station for night bus to Mandalay. Overnight on bus.

MANDALAY SIGHTSEEING
Upon arrival in Mandalay around 05.30AM, we will take time to enjoy breathtaking views over the region from Mandalay Hill before we will visit Mandalay Palace - the last royal palace of the last Burmese monarchy.
Then, we will start with a visit to the Mahamuni Pagoda. This pagoda houses one of the country’s most honored Buddha images, completely covered in gold leaves that are every day applied to the statue by male devotees. Proceed to Kuthodaw Pagoda, frequently dubbed as “The World’s Biggest Book” for its collection of 729 marble slabs inscribed with Buddhist teachings.
Then it’s off to the Shwenandaw Monastery, the Golden Monastery which is the only enduring structure from the Royal Palace of the 19th century. This impressive structure is celebrated for its remarkable woodcarvings.
Finally, stop at Amarapura, the former capital that its name means ‘City of Immortality’. Here, you can visit a silk weaving workshop. Afterwards, you could walk to U Bein Bridge, a oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world. It was built in the end of 18thcentury with 1.2 km long across Taungthaman lake. Enjoy the late afternoon beauty as the sun casts long shadows and illuminates the bridge. As a stunning day comes to an end head back to Mandalay.
You are transferred back to Mandalay center in the late afternoon.

MINGUN – SAGAING (B)
Today, at 08.30AM, we will transfer by car to Mandalay Jetty to embark on the boat for a cruise to Mingun- home to various Buddhist temples, monasteries, meditation centers and monuments. Upon arrival Mingun, we start to visit the famous Mingun Bell -the largest working bell in the world. You will be enchanted by the MingunPaya- the huge rock in Mandalay which is best known for its very large, unfinished stupa.
Continue to explore the Hisnbyume Pagoda located in the Northern part of Mingun town a few hundred meters from the massive Mingun Pagoda. Along your way, you have various opportunities to stopand interact with friendly locals throughout the region.
On the way to return to Mandalay, we will drive to explore Sagaing which covered with 600 white-painted pagodas and monasteries. Sagaing Hill, home to 3,000 monks and 100 meditation centers, is widely considered as the religious center of Myanmar. Today, you can also get to Sagaing’s local market, a typical Burmese market that few tourists visit where a range of local products are for sale including local pottery, silver items and other handicrafts. Visitors can stop at a small pottery village to learn about the process of making the ubiquitous water pots, which found throughout Myanmar.
Then, you have chances to discover many well-known pagodas in the region such as Swan OoPonNya Shin and U Min ThoneSae.

BAGAN SIGHTSEEING (B)
08.30AM, you will pick up at your hotel to start Bagan Day Tour. Your amazing full day tour will begin with a visit of a morning market where you can get insights into the true Bagan living.
Continue to discover architectural masterpieces by visiting a typical selection of temples and pagodas including the Shwezigon Pagoda -the most sacred and important religious architecture, the Ananda Temple featuring magnificent Buddhism artworks and Htilominlo Pagoda which is noted for its gorgeous mural paintings and carvings dating back to thousands years ago.
Your afternoon exploration will begin after a short break for lunch (on your own). The first stop will be to visit the nearby Dhammayangyi Temple, largest of all the temples in Bagan. Next is Lacquer ware workshop where a wide collection of beautiful Lacquer ware can be found with different kinds. Visiting the workshop is a great chance to learn more about the traditional work and how it can be handed from generation to generation.
Continue to visit the reclining Buddha of the Manuha Pagoda-noted for its exceptional examples of Buddha statues. Your journey will end with a visit the Shwesandaw Pagoda, the pagoda contains a series of five terraces, topped with a cylindrical stupa, which has a bejeweled umbrella.

MT. POPA – OVERNIGHT BUS TO INLE (B)
At 08.30AM, after breakfast, you’ll visit busy Nyaung Oo market. Then, you’ll take a break from Taung Kalat, a Buddhist monastery which is perched on top of Mount Popa, an extinct volcano standing 1518 metres high Mount Popa has played an important role in Myanmar culture, religion and history since earliest times. Its shrine is dedicated to the worship of the 37 Nats, the Burmese ancient animist spirits. Learn about nats and nat worship as you climb the stairs to the top with your local guide. The view over the Myingyan Plain from the top of the volcanic peak is impressive (and the climb is optional!).
Afterwards, we’ll drive back to Bagan, a one-hour journey to along the way we will stop in a local village where the people use the fruit of the palm tree to make wine and molasses. Witness the incredible production process. Take overnight bus to Inle Lake.

INLE SIGHTSEEING
Upon arrival in Inle around 04.30AM, our guide and driver will transfer you to a local restaurant for breakfast (on your own) before you will board a private motorboat and go to Inle Lake, one of Myanmar’s most spectacular and breathtaking sights. Its calm waters are dotted with floating vegetation and fishing canoes, to which scenic hills provide the perfect backdrop. Observe the daily activities of the local leg-rowing fishermen and see their ‘floating gardens’, which are built up from strips of water hyacinth, earth and anchored to the bottom of the lake with bamboo poles.
You will also visit Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery, which houses loads of early Shan Buddha Images. In the past this temple was known for its ‘jumping cats’ but these days there are only a few felines roaming around and none are jumping any more. Finally, proceed to the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, which contains five sacred images of Buddha decorated in gold leaf.
There are also many traditional crafts originating on Inle Lake and, should you wish, we can stop for a visit to one making incredible woven items from lotus silk, boat builders (depending on the time of year), a cigar making workshop, blacksmiths or even silver smiths.

INDEIN – OVERNIGHT BUS TO YANGON (B)
8.30AM, After breakfast you’ll pay a visit to the lake’s morning market (the market is open every day apart from dark moon and full moon calendar days). The market’s location rotates between the lake’s villages in a 5 day schedule and is also visited daily by the lake’s inhabitants as well as the surrounding natives who also come to sell and trade their wares.
A 1-hour boat ride down a small canal will take you to Indein, positioned on the western shores of Inle Lake. Take a leisurely stroll around the village before ascending a rural road to the top of a hill. Once you’ve arrived at the summit, you will be greeted buy an iconic Buddha image which sits enshrined among hundreds of stupa ruins and overgrown shrubbery. Here, from the peak, you will also be rewarded with mesmerizing views of the placid surroundings. The Indein Pagoda complex is undoubtedly one of the most amazing sites around the shore of the lake and it consists of hundreds of small stupas which are overrun by moss and greenery. On your boat ride back, should time allow and if you wish, you'll stop at the Inthar Heritage House to learn more about the history and culture of the lake's indigenous people and enjoy a delicious coffee and cake (snack break not included). Take overnight bus to Yangon.
