Day 1: Hanoi - Cat Ba National Park (L, D)
We’ll start the day by collecting you from your hotel in the Old Quarter at 08:00. You will then drive approximately two hours to Dinh Vu Harbour where you will take a 45-minute high-speed boat to Cat Ba Island. You will stop Cat Ba Town for lunch, before trekking through Cat Ba National Park to Viet Hai Village. On the way you can enjoy bird watching, and sightseeing in the pristine forest and at Frog Lake. Watch out for the native cats, squirrels, spotted deer, snakes, thousands of butterflies, and if you’re lucky, a Cat Ba Langur. You will have dinner and stay overnight in a bungalow in Viet Hai Village.
Physical activities: a 10-12km trek

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay (B/L/D)
Breakfast will be served at 07:30 followed by a walk to the top of Marine Hill which offers panoramic views of both Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. On returning to Viet Hai Village, you can treat yourself to a fish massage or take some time to relax before cycling to Viet Hai Harbour, where you will board the boat to explore Lan Ha Bay. As the boat glides past the fascinating landscapes of craggy karsts you can enjoy a delicious lunch on board followed by kayaking around Hang Luon Cave. If the weather is hot, you can stop at some beautiful wild beaches where you can enjoy swimming and snorkelling. You will have dinner and spend the night on the boat.
Physical activities: 30-minute cycle, 3-hour cruise, 1 hour kayak.

Day 3 Lan Ha Bay - Hai Phong - Ha Noi (B, L)
If you wake early enough, you can enjoy the stunning view of the sun rising over the bay. After breakfast on board, you will continue your voyage through Lan Ha Bay, past the wild, chalky peaks to Cai Beo Village where the people live on a colourful flotilla of floating houses and make their living farming fish. After time to explore this unique village, you will return to the boat for lunch. (Lunch will be served on land if we have to embark new passengers). You will disembark at around 11:30. From here, you will travel to Hanoi City where your trip will end.
Physical activities: 3-hour cruise.
